Spice bread

Ingredients

 

Pain d'épice

0.33 lb of honey
0.28 lb of sugar
0.11 lb of milk
0.11 lb of butter
0.55 lb of flour
1 teaspoon of anise powder

                                1 teaspoon of bicarbonate

 

 

 

Preparation

 

To begin with, mix flour with bicarbonate
Then, warm up the milk and mix it with butter, honey and anise powder

Slowly blend flour and bicarbonate to the preparation
Put the preparation in a cake tin
Cook it with thermostat 6-7 (160°) for 45-50 minutes, and then turn it out when it is still hot.
